Chery Tiggo 8 Pro 1.6TGDI 290T Distinction-R496 900*

The base model 8 Pro features 18-inch alloy wheels, a multifunction steering wheel, USB ports(front + rear), climate control, keyless entry/start, artificial leather seats, LED headlights, a colour touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, cruise control, keyless entry/start and an electrically adjustable driver's seat. The base model benefits from traction and stability control, 6 airbags, ISOFIX child seat anchor points, rear PDC with a reverse and surround-view camera as well as ABS with EBA. There is also a 5-year/60 000km service plan as standard.

Moving up to the Executive model, it takes what the Distinction model has and adds lane departure warning, blind spot assist, adaptive cruise control, rear privacy glass, electric adjustment for the front passenger seat, a panoramic sunroof and high-beam assist.

 

Chery Tiggo 8 Pro Max 2.0TGDI 390T Executive- R629 900*

Moving up to the flagship Max Executive specification there is a longer 7-year/90 000km service plan, soundproof glass as well as a more powerful 2.0-litre turbocharged engine which produces 187kW and 390Nm versus the 145kW/290kW 1.6-litre mill in the other Tiggo 8 Pro models.

 

So which one is the best?

When looking at the Tiggo 8 Pro range, we feel that the base model Distinction offers a fantastic set of features for the money, and is therefore the model that we would choose within the 8 Pro line-up.
