BAIC B40 Plus colours and price guide
While BAIC was setting up local operations, there were few new models or derivatives introduced. This, however, is changing as recently the Chinese automaker has launched two new models onto the market, the B40 Plus and the Beijing X55. We list the pricing and colours for the B40 Plus model here.
The BAIC B40 Plus has been on the market for just over a year now. The sports utility vehicle does take on a very rugged design and is clearly aimed towards lifestyle vehicle buyers. Locally the model is offered with two engine configurations and in three trim levels, resulting in a total of five derivatives. Customers can choose between either a 2.0-litre, turbocharged, 4-cylinder petrol engine or a 2.0-litre, turbocharged, 4-cylinder diesel motor.
Diesel variants are offered with a 6-speed manual gearbox whereas the petrol derivatives come with a 6-speed automatic transmission.
