The ultimate, luxurious people carrier, the Mercedes-Benz V-Class, launched last year, but what options are available?

Optional extras for your new V-Class

You'll be pleased to know that the Exclusive model, the only new model in the lineup, is so well-specified that only three items will cost you extra!

In the same breath, the V-Class has a price tag of R2 267 768, so it's fair that most items should not cost buyers even more money.

What's on offer in the V-Class in terms of packages?

Take a look at the packages that all make up part of the deal:

  • Aerodynamics package
  • Smartphone integration
  • Winter package
  • Mirror package
  • Anti-theft protection package
  • Easy-Pack tailgate package
  • Traffic Assist package
  • Parking Package with 360-degree camera

No-cost extras in the V-Class

Everybody likes something for free, and this list of free options will cheer you up, meaning that you can go crazy ticking all (or none!) of these boxes.

  • Stowage net on driver and/or passenger's seat backrest
  • Individual seat in 2nd row left
  • Individual seat in 2nd row right
  • Tartufo Nappa leather
  • Leather Nappe silk beige
  • Rear seat climate control, 2nd seat row
  • Individual armrests, 2nd row
  • Wood-look trim, open pore
  • Light alloy wheels, 10-spoke design

These are the standard-issue alloys on the V-Class; you can choose more traditional 10-spoke alloys if you don't fancy them.

What will cost you extra money in the V-Class?

The multi-adjustable luxury seats in the V-Class.
This the most expensive option? These luxury seats.

There are only the single luxury seats with additional comfort features in the first row—if you choose one, you have to install both, and they're R95 805 each, so prepare to part with an additional R191 610, basically.

However, all metallic body colours are optional except for the standard high-tech silver metallic, with no non-metallic options.
