Suzuki South Africa has had a lot of reasons to celebrate as of late. They have leapfrogged their way up the sales charts and are now one of the largest passenger vehicle sellers in the country. With many more Suzuki vehicles on SA's roads, the question of maintenance comes up quite frequently.

How expensive are Suzuki models to maintain and repair? We consulted the Kinsey report that is released each year to see just what kind of money we're talking about. Unfortunately, the Kinsey report has not been released since 2020 so recent info is rather scarce, but we can extrapolate from the last few years that Suzuki has made an appearance.

Verdict
As you can see from the above table, the Swift Sport has a part's basket of just over 34% while the popular Jimny comes in at 32%. This means that Suzuki generally are on par with most other small vehicles in terms of costs. There are many vehicles which fare way worse and with Suzukis growing popularity and a host of models to choose from, you cant go wrong with one of these diminutive kei cars.
