3 extras you should retrofit on a used MINI Paceman
Whether you had your MINI Paceman since new or recently bought a used example, there are extras with which you can bolster your ownership experience or just update the styling. Here are our top three extras you should retrofit on a MINI Paceman.
The Paceman model was introduced in 2013 and after three short years, MINI halted the production. The MINI Paceman is no longer sold as a new vehicle, if you would like to own one, you will have to consider a used example. Prospective buyers have access to a 1.6-litre, naturally aspirated petrol motor developing 90 kW and 160 Nm of torque, in the Cooper models.
Also available in the Cooper S and John Cooper Works variants are a 1.6-litre, twin-scroll, turbocharged petrol motor. In the Cooper S, this engine produces 140 kW and 240 Nm of torque while in the John Cooper Works, the engineers managed to get 160 kW and 280 Nm of torque. But let us take a look at the extras you can fit to improve the styling and comfort of the Paceman model.
1. DVD system
Is there anything worse than a disgruntled backseat driver? MINI thought about that when they developed this easy to install, system. Using specific mounting clamps the owner can mount two screens to the rear of the front seat headrests and power the items through the 12V socket. The vibrant screens offer in-car entertainment to the rear passengers while you get on with driving.
2. Wheels
While the exterior of the MINI Paceman is already an exciting design, why not add a little extra flair. Optionally available are 12 wheel designs which range between 16- and 18-inch sizes. MINI also offer the wheels in a variety of colour options ranging from Black to Anthracite Grey. Also on offer is the John Cooper Works designs which not only comes in a darker shade for a more dramatic look but also in 19-inch size to fill the wheel well.
3. Decals
While busy updating the exterior, why not give your Paceman an even sportier look. MINI offer customers a variety of decals ranging from GT stripes stretching the entire vehicle to side stripes. Also available is a Union Jack design decal to finish the roof of the MINI like it did the early models in the '60s. A chequered flag design also available if the owner wants to continue on the racing theme.
