What’s the difference between a Maintenance plan, a Service plan and a Warranty?

Maintenance Plan

A Maintenance plan offers you hassle-free motoring covering all associated with your scheduled services, repairs of defective components and wear and tear items that need to be replaced. All you need to worry about are the tyres.

Service Plan

A Service plan covers all costs associated with your scheduled services, including parts and labour but excluding wear and tear items like wiper blades or brake pads.

Warranty Plan

A Warranty covers all costs associated with the repairs of defective components, including parts and labour. The warranty excludes wear and tear items like wiper blades and brake pads.

What’s covered under the basic VW Warranty?

This basic warranty does not cover maintenance, but it may cover parts in connection with certain necessary repairs.

If you buy genuine OEM parts or accessories, these will also have their own warranty coverage.

VWSA’s 3-year warranty protects your Beetle against the failure of most mechanical and electrical components due to manufacturing defects.

Your vehicle should be serviced in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications.

12-year Body Protection Warranty.

The internal body sections and panels of your Volkswagen Beetle are covered against rusting through from the inside for a period of 12 years. Naturally, your vehicle must be cared for in compliance with the operating instructions.

Please consult your Volkswagen Dealer for full warranty details.
