Suzuki has upped their manufacturer warranty to a healthy 5 year / 200 000km's.
This means that if you purchase your Suzuki Swift, second hand, within that time frame, the balance of the warranty will transfer to you.

What does this warranty cover though?
- Warranty covers defects in manufacturing, materials and workmanship for the warranty period.
- Warranty begins at date of first registration.
- Warranty will only be valid if all services kept up to date and done at authorised Suzuki dealership.
The warranty does NOT cover the following consumable or wear items:
- Brakes
- Clutches
- Certain drive train components
- Fluid refills
- Key fob batteries
- Windshield wipers
- Tyres
- Damage due to negligence
If you purchase your Swift outside of the original warranty period you may want to take a look at a third party warranty extender.
