BMW South Africa offers a comprehensive motoring plan with every BMW sold. When you purchase an X6 you will get a 2 year / Unlimited Km Warranty and 5 year / 100 000km service and maintenance plan.

The BMW Motorplan provides owners with the peace of mind of knowing that their BMW will be attended to by qualified technicians, and only original BMW parts will be used.

 

Every BMW Motorplan warranty covers the following:

  • Car repair work to all major components.
  • All maintenance plan and service work stipulated by the intelligent maintenance system, Condition Based Servicing (CBS).
  • All repairs and costs of parts from normal wear and tear which may occur when the manufacturer's warranty has already expired.
  • All oils, brake fluids and other lubricants replaced during a service.
  • Vehicle mileage is checked and verified on the BMW Motorplan system.
  • Access to 24-hour roadside assistance through BMW On Call.
  • The choice of having your car serviced at any of the BMW Dealerships throughout South Africa, as well as Botswana, Namibia and Swaziland.
  • Ease of budgeting for your future motoring costs.
  • The ability to transfer the balance of your Motorplan contract to a new owner if you sell or trade in your BMW, thus enhancing the retail value of your vehicle.

 

   

What does the BMW Motorplan NOT cover?    

Like very warranty out there are some exclusions.

    

  • Any alterations
  • Modifications
  • Non BMW approved accessories
  • Tyres
  • Window glass
  • Cabriolet soft-top canvas
  • Vehicle accident damage
  • Any damage resulting from the owner's negligence or abuse.
  • Paint, body and trim repairs.
