An updated Audi A3 is now available in South Africa, and the German brand is also taking the opportunity to release a revised version of the RS3 Sportback and Sedan.

What's new?
The 2025 Audi A3 has been updated with a focus on visual enhancements and interior improvements. From an exterior perspective, there are updated front and rear bumpers, a wider grille, and reshaped headlights and taillights. Inside, there's a redesigned centre console with a smaller gear shifter, added space, and upgraded finishes on the air vents, door handles, and dashboard. The 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system now offers more downloadable apps, and the Audi Virtual Cockpit Plus provides a customizable digital instrument cluster. Wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and an optional wireless charging pad enhance connectivity.
For the 2025 model year, the Audi RS3 has also received several updates. There are redesigned headlights, a new front bumper with larger air inlets, and a redesigned rear bumper with a larger diffuser. Inspired by the RS3 LMS race car, new paint and wheel choices exist. The interior features updates like a more squared-off steering wheel with bright red performance mode buttons, a redesigned tachometer, and dark chrome and carbon-fibre trim. RS bucket seats with carbon fibre backs are also an option.
A3
The updated A3 range has a 1.4-litre turbocharged petrol engine developing, badged 35 TFSI. The unit produces 110kW and 250Nm of torque. It’s coupled with an eight-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. The new model is available in either the S line, Black Edition trim, and Sportback and Sedan body styles. The brand will introduce an updated version of the S3 in Sportback and Sedan guise later in 2025, too.
RS3
The RS3 models retain (thankfully) the legendary 2.5-litre TFSI five-cylinder engine producing 294kW and 500Nm. The RS3 accelerates to 100km/h from a standstill in just 3.8 seconds. Here, Audi South Africa offers the option of standard or Carbon Edition trim lines; the latter bespoke to our country.
