1. AutoTrader Price Ratings
We introduced AutoTrader Price Ratings earlier this year, which means that for the first time in South Africa, you can quickly and easily see how cars are priced in relation to similar cars in the market. Every day we combine and analyse data from millions of vehicles and we use this data to work out a car's current market price, taking into account things like make, model, year, mileage, fuel type and optional extras.
2. Variant Search
One of the great features when searching on AutoTrader is that you can search for a specific variant to find the exact specifications you want without having to scroll through endless options.
3. Estimated monthly repayment
To help you search for your dream car, AutoTrader has introduced a search by monthly repayment feature and we now display the estimated monthly repayment on our listings. The estimated repayments are based on a 72-month loan repayment, interest rate of prime + 2%, and no deposit.
4. Condition Rating
We now offer advertisers the option to submit the condition of the vehicles they list for sale on our website, this means that certain AutoTrader listings now have a condition rating for the vehicle. Once you view the listing, more detail about the condition is given about specific areas of the vehicle, such as the exterior, interior, mechanical & electrical.
5. Car Finance Pre-qualification
When you have found a vehicle that you like, you can scroll down on the listing page where you will find a Car Finance Calculator. Next to the estimated monthly repayment, you can select "Pre-Qualify Now" link and get a vehicle finance pre-qualification.
