Hyper Mobility Conference coming to SA in November
Messe Frankfurt South Africa is partnering with the National Association of Automobile Manufacturers of SA (NAAMSA) to probe the way forward for the local and global motor industry in a fully virtual engagement session on Wednesday, 18 November 2020. This ground-breaking event will be staged in association with AutoTrader under the banner of HyperMobility with the theme for the initial event being: “Navigating the turbulence together towards mobility 4.0.”
Ford tops vehicle exports, encouraging domestic sales recovery for September 2020
Ford Motor Company of Southern Africa (FMCSA) emerged as the top vehicle exporter for September 2020, with a total of 6 995 units shipped to its more than 100 global markets – an increase of 11.3-percent compared to August 2020, and its highest export volume for the year. On the domestic front, Ford notched up 3 679 sales – a substantial 23.6-percent improvement compared to the preceding month, and its best volume since February 2020. This placed it third overall on the local sales charts for September, as released by the National Association of Automobile Manufacturers of South Africa (NAAMSA).

Besides new and upcoming Audi products, protagonists are also Audi employees like head of design Marc Lichte, who are the authentic embodiment of Audi’s attitude.
Fitment of dash cams now possible in certain Ford Ranger models
The popularity of dashboard or windscreen-mounted cameras, commonly known as dash cams, is growing around the world with many motorists using them as necessary technology for on-road safety. Ford Motor Company of Southern Africa (FMCSA) is responding to this trend with the introduction of an unobtrusive USB charging port located in the rear-view mirror.
