This collaboration allows Salvador Caetano to have offerings in the commercial vehicle sector. This alliance is hoped to increase JMC's presence in the South African market, promising more reliable and service-oriented distribution and a greater support network. Salvador Caetano Auto will now serve as the official distributor of JMC vehicles in South Africa.

What to Expect from JMC in South Africa:

  • A Vigus bakkie: The Vigus will return in early 2026 and be available in single—and double-cab variants. JMC will reintroduce the brand with the current Vigus in 2025.

  • The Grand Avenue SUV

  • JMC Carrying Plus: A range of vehicles engineered to tackle heavy-duty commercial tasks

This collaboration promises to bring a fresh wave of commercial and lifestyle vehicles to the South African market. What JMC model are you most excited to see on local roads?
