1. It offers high luxury models
Suzuki fans who are after higher specification level on the Swift Sport, but are not too concerned about additional power, can now opt for the Suzuki Swift GLX. This model is filled with luxuries like automatic climate control and a 7.0-inch touch screen infotainment system as standard. There's also the option between having your 61 kW 1.2-litre engine paired with either a five-speed manual or a five-speed automated-manual transmission.
Through offering the GLX specification level on the Swift, Suzuki not only beats most of its direct rivals but also offers better luxury specification than more expensive hatchbacks that compete in the higher price bracket.

2. It's a Global Best-Seller
The first Suzuki Swift was launched in most global markets in 2005. It also spearheaded Suzuki’s entry to South Africa in 2008, before being replaced by the second-generation model in 2011.
Both first- and second-generation models have proved to be highly popular and in South Africa, the model represents roughly 30% of all Suzuki sales and globally more than 6 million units have been sold.
3. Designed to be Driver-Focused
Suzuki's designers have retained the Swift’s “driver first” design philosophy in its latest model. The driver-first philosophy is most evident in the new model’s D-shaped sporty steering wheel and redesigned front seats that offer firmer support for less fatigue on long journeys, especially for the upper body and shoulders.
Additionally, the centre console contains the speedometer and rev counter in separate housings to accentuate the vehicle’s nature as a driver’s car. Chrome accents and a chronograph-design to the driving cluster can also be found on GL models. GL models also feature an audio system with Bluetooth-connectivity, a USB socket, steering wheel controls for the audio system and electrically adjustable side view mirrors, all especially convenient for the driver.
Moreover, all models have a tilt-adjustable steering column and a detailed information display that shows fuel consumption and range. New Swift's are also fitted with a security alarm and immobiliser.
