What is Time Attack?
Time Attack is a non-championship social event that welcomes various machines to Killarney's 1.9km course. Entrants include street, historic, race, single-seaters, sports prototypes, and GT cars. Time Attack doesn't feature wheel-to-wheel racing. Instead, contestants tackle the track solo, launching at 30-second intervals.
The track
The anti-clockwise route promises a unique experience. Drivers will set off approximately 150m before Sarel's Sweep, head down the Tygerberg Straight, navigate the tricky Damp's Dip, sweep through Castrol Corner, power down Joubert Straight, through Blockkoin Corner, and finish on the Porsche Straight. Each run begins with a standing start when the flag drops; however, the clock only starts ticking when the car crosses the timing line 10 meters ahead.

Entries
Entry for drivers is strictly limited to 85 contestants. At the previous Time Attack, Billy Brink's Nissan 350Z came close to breaking the one-minute barrier with a time of 1:00.013. The hosts hope 2025 is the first time a streetcar achieves the feat.
Tickets
Spectator tickets are available through Webtickets at R95 for adults, R10 for scholars under 16, and free admission for children under 12. Gate prices on the day will be R130 for adults, R20 for under-16s, and free entry for under-12s.
Killarney's food and beverage outlets will be open all day. Spectators can bring their gazebos, cooler boxes, and even skottel-braais to create their perfect trackside experience.
