Nissan Navara colour and price guide

Looking to get into a new Nissan Navara but unsure which colour to pick? We play dress-up with the Navara Double Cab to see which colour suits it best, but it's all down to personal taste, of course.

In my opinion, the Navara is one of the best-looking new bakkies to be seen on South African roads. This locally-built bakkie launched in July 2021 and vehicle sales have already surpassed the previous (entire) year's sales.

According to Charl Timms, Sales & Operations Director at Nissan South Africa, the success of the new Navara is mainly owed to two things: Its value proposition and the fact that is it produced right here, at home.

"In October, we completed the line-up with the launch of the Single Cab. Our customer base is very diverse, and this line-up is built to meet all their unique needs – whether it’s a workhorse for their business, family travels or off-road adventures. The Nissan Navara offers a reliable bakkie functionality with a premium drive and innovative safety features, which has contributed to its tremendous success.”

The Nissan Navara can be had in various shades of solid and metallic greys, white, black and silver, while vibrant red shades are available too if you fancy something a little more lively. All colours are free of charge, and if you buy a Pro-2X model you can also order your Navara in Warrior Grey.

Solid white is SA's most popular car colour for bakkies, and considering how hot our sun is, it's always a good choice.

Silver is always a classic choice and makes the Navara look suave and sophisticated.

Techno Grey enhances the Navara's ruggedness and shows off its muscular curves nicely.

Black makes the Navara look dangerous and menacing but may get too hot in our intense South African sunlight.

Red is a good choice if you like to stand out from the crowd, and while not all bakkies look good in this hue, it flatters the Navara.

Forged Copper (metallic) is a trendy colour if the solid red is too loud but the greys and whites are too subdued. (I'd pick this colour:)

Warrior Grey is only available on the Pro-2X models and certainly makes a style statement!
