Styling
While the profile of the new V-Class and Vito models remains similar to that of the outgoing iteration upfront, there is unmistakably a new design. The grille is much larger, and on the V-Class models get a chrome treatment, while the more utilitarian Vito range gets matt black plastic.
As can be expected, the headlamps and taillamps, as well as the front and rear bumpers, have been given an update to meet the new design language of the latest models.
Interior
The design of the interior also has been updated to match Mercedes-Benz's current styling language. But this is not where it stops. While the German automaker hasn't yet specified about the new technologies, it says that the new V-Class and Vito models will offer a host of equipment, driver-assistance systems and functionality on the interior.
Conclusion
While there is very little information about the available powertrains, the expected prices and standard safety and infotainment specifications, more of this information will become available closer to the local introduction, which should take place between 18 and 24 months from now.
