The Toyota Prius was the vehicle that kicked off EV ownership and made it seem to be cool to own a Hybrid. Whether Hybrids are cool or not is a story for another day, but we want to make sure that if you do have a Prius you know how to take care of it.

Even though it is a hybrid many of its systems still operate like a normal car, the windscreen washing system being one of them. The onboard washer system needs to be refilled at regular inetrvals to ensure that the system works when you need it.

Let's take a look at how the washer reservoir on a Toyota Prius is refilled.

 

Fill 'er up

 

1. Open the bonnet

 

2. Locate the filler spout

 

3. Open and fill with windscreen washer fluid

 

4. Close cap firmly, close bonnet and test system
