How to top up screen wash on a Tata Bolt

A simple bit of car DIY you can do on your Tata Bolt, in a matter of minutes, is to refill your windscreen washer bottle. We show you how.

The Tata Bolt is not the Indian engineering giants first foray into passenger vehicles. It is the result of solid design and trickle down engineering, benefitting from having access to the skillset from Jaguar LandRover. Just like its British born cousin, the Bolt does have the same needs though and you will need to do periodic maintenance to keep your's going strong.

One of these maintenance items is refilling your windscreen washer bottle and we can help with a step by step guide.

You will need:

 

  • Clean water
  • Washer fluid (available at auto parts stores)

 

Let's get started!

1.Open the bonnet.


 

2.Locate the washer fluid bottle, usually marked with a yellow cap.
Open the cap and fill with clean water and washer fluid up to the full mark.

 

3.Close cap and bonnet

 


4.Test system to ensure it works sufficiently.
