How to replace a lightbulb on a Renault Duster

Changing headlight bulbs on your Renault Duster isn't that difficult. With a bit of perseverance you can tackle this DIY maintenance right at home and save yourself a few hundred rand in labor costs and time.

You will need:

  • Bulbs for your year model
  • Soft cloth

 

Let's get to it!

1. Open the bonnet

 

2. Locate the back of the headlight cluster in the engine bay.

 

3. Find the rubber cap that covers the bulb housing and remove it.

 

4.Remove the connector plug from the bulb prongs.

 

5. Carefully remove the old bulb.

 

7. Insert new bulb into the housing and replace the connector plug, securing the bulb in place.

 

8. Replace the bulb cover.
