Visual spectacle comes to mind when looking at the Omoda C5. This is the case thanks to OMODA's latest 'Art in Motion' design language. There's an even flow of curves and sharp lines throughout the vehicle's exterior, with a pronounced silhouette to round it all off. Inside, in keeping with the theme of modernity, are a host of screens nestled in a flowing, touch-sensitive dashboard. All linked to these screens is a 64-colour ambient lighting system to set the mood for your drive. Along with that mood setting is a 3D Sony sound system. Powering the OMODA C5 is a 1.5-litre turbocharged 4-cylinder petrol engine churning out 115 kW and 230 Nm through a CVT transmission to the front wheels and returning a claimed fuel consumption of 6.9l /100km. Nice isn't it? How much are the repayments per month, though?

Omoda C5 Monthly Repayments

There are 5 variants of the Omoda C5. All variants of the C5 have a 5-year /70 000km service plan and a 5-year /150 000km mechanical warranty. Chery's notable additional 10-year / 1 million km engine warranty is also included. These plans are included in the purchase price. As with many new car purchases, you'll generally have to finance the vehicle to buy it with such a large amount of money. Simply put, the bank or financial institution will buy the vehicle on your behalf and then you'll pay them back over a set period month to month until you pay off the car then it becomes yours. A fee is charged for this service as interest on the money borrowed to purchase the car.

We'll use a typical finance agreement with a 72-month term and a 10% deposit to calculate the monthly repayments here. You have the option of a balloon or residual payment but we're not going to use that in this calculation. We'll use an interest rate of prime 11.75% for an interest rate of 13.25%. The interest rate is determined by your individual credit profile, so you'll have to check what interest rate you qualify for. After our calculation, your payment will look like this:
