Facelifted Jetour Dashing Arrives in South Africa

Two years after making its local debut, the Jetour Dashing has received an update. The facelifted midsize SUV brings sharper exterior styling, upgraded interior luxury, and a significant jump in driver-assistance safety technology.

Updated design

The Dashing has been updated with:

  • 19-inch alloy wheels.

  • Brushed-aluminium tailpipes at the rear.

  • Panoramic glass sunroof.

  • LED exterior lighting and high-beam assistance.

Interior highlights:

  • Audio: 8-speaker Sony sound system.

  • Comfort: Dual-zone climate control with heated and ventilated front seats.

  • Visibility: 540° panoramic view camera system.

  • 486 litres of boot space under normal conditions, expandable to 977 litres with the rear seats folded flat.

Under the bonnet, the updated Dashing retains its 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine, paired with a 7-speed Dual-Clutch Transmission (DCT) that drives the front wheels.

Level 2 ADAS safety added

The headlining addition to this refreshed model is a comprehensive Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) suite:

  • Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC)

  • Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB) & Forward Collision Warning (FCW)

  • Lane Keeping Assist (LKA) & Lane Departure Warning (LDW)

  • Blind Spot Detection (BSD) & Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA)

Also included are front, side, and curtain airbags, as well as front parking sensors.

The updated Dashing is available in six exterior shades: Onyx Black, Slate Grey, Forest Green, Ash Grey, Crimson Red, and Glacier White.
