The new model, Swift, comes with a variety of new features. One is the new powerplant, the Z12E engine. This 3-cylinder petrol engine makes 60kW and 112Nm, and power is sent to the front wheels via either a 5-speed manual or CVT transmission. The Swift's lightweight nature remains, as it is a 908kg kerb weight shell. Let's get into the pricing and what each variant offers now.
Pricing
The Swift range has a 2-year /30 000 km service plan and a 5-year /200 000 km warranty with roadside assistance and support.

1.2 GL
This is your entry to the Swift range. The 1.2 GL comes with all the abovementioned standard equipment. This model has 14-inch steel wheels with hubcaps and a space-saving spare wheel located in the boot.
1.2 GL+
The GL+ starts upping the ante with the addition of a CVT transmission. The wheel size is upped to 15.0 inches, and you get alloy wheels now. In this model, a 7.0-inch infotainment touchscreen comes standard and includes Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. You now get a multifunction steering wheel. There is also now an integrated reverse camera.
1.2 GLX
The GLX will be the range-topper and exude luxury features. You will receive LED headlamps with Daytime Running Lights and LED forlamps. The side mirrors close automatically when you lock the vehicle. The alloy wheels are 15 inches here but are diamond-cut now. The climate control is now fully automatic. The infotainment touchscreen has been upgraded to 9.0 inches. The steering wheel is upgraded with leather cladding, cruise control buttons and phone controls. CVT buyers will receive paddle shifts on the steering wheel.
