Latest Information on Porsche 944

Built from 1989 until 1991, the Porsche 944 was a luxury sports car that was meant to last well into the late 90’s. Unfortunately the platform was abandoned after work on a new model became so intense, that it was decided to retire the model and begin anew. The 944 was released (much like the 924) as a front-engined rear-wheel drive, a departure for Porsche purists. It was available in an array of models that included cabriolets, turbos, S-models and special racing editions.
