Successor of the Kia Clarus, the Magentis has been in production since 2000. It’s likely that if you are not familiar with the Magentis, then it’s unlikely you would know about the Clarus. The executive car was based on, and shared components with, the Hyundai Sonata. First generation models were built until 2006. Between 2006 and 2009, second generation models were built. The model then underwent a facelift in 2009. In size, the Magentis was similar to the Mondeo saloon and came well-equipped. The car was spacious and beat out many rivals for its rear passenger space. The car offers much value but didn’t hold its market value for very long.
