Latest Information on Daewoo Lanos
The Daewoo Lanos was produced from 1997 to 2002 and designed to replace the Daewoo Nexia. The Lanos was designed by the famous car designer Giorgetto Giugiaro. There were three body styles in the initial range that consisted of the three-door and five-door hatchback, and a four-door sedan. Making use of a host of engine and gearbox pairings (ranging from 1.3 to 1.6-auto and manual), the Daewoo sold well until their agreement with General Motors ended. Eventually the Lanos was replaced by the Daewoo Kalos. Although discontinued in 2002, it continued to be built under various license agreements in Eastern Block countries such as Russia, Poland and the Ukraine.
