Feast for two-wheel aficionados
Red Star Raceway in Delmas, just a 30-minute ride from Johannesburg, will play host to an exciting exhibition of all things two-wheeled at the end of January. AMID (Association of Motorcycle Importers and Distributors) SA has put together an expo featuring a lineup of South African biker's favourite brands, that will have their most popular and latest models on display.

The last time we witnessed a show of this magnitude was in 2018 at Kyalami for SA BikeFest which drew large crowds of excited motorcyclists from all over Gauteng. Not only will SA's largest motorcycle brands be in attendance again, but visitors can also expect accessory and apparel sellers as well as food and entertainment. Unfortunately, there will be no track access for test rides as Suzuki will be running their Road Safety School over the two-day event as well as the CMA (Christian Motorcycle Association) hosting a scooter-based new rider academy. (off track of course!)

These are the brands that have been confirmed, but we may see a few more added to the list before the event rolls around. Now here's the best part.... its 100% free! So bring your pillion, get grandma to load up the kids, bring your cousin and her dodgy boyfriend... we need to get as many motorcyclists there as possible to show the industry that there is demand for an event of this nature and hopefully, with the next incarnation we can go back to track test rides!
