Verdict

If you're interested in a motorcycle with modern features and classic styling, the Triumph Speed Twin 1200 RS is a compelling choice. However, if you appreciate the engineering of new BMW motorcycles but are looking for the classic character of a cafe racer, the R12S is the one to have, if you don't mind the price premium.
