The New CLAAS TRION Series: Efficiency and Versatility Reimagined
The CLAAS TRION has already established itself as a benchmark for mid-sized combine harvesters, but for the 2026 model year, CLAAS is taking performance even further. With the introduction of the new flagship TRION 760 and significant upgrades across the entire series, these machines are designed to offer farmers and contractors a perfect balance of throughput, reliability, and advanced operator comfort.
A New Flagship and Enhanced Power
At the heart of the latest update is the new TRION 760, which leads the series with a powerful 12.4-litre MAN D26 engine producing 375kW. The TRION 750 has also been upgraded to 340kW, ensuring both hybrid models have the muscle to handle high-yielding crops and large-scale operations. These models now feature a standard 13,500-liter grain tank, which significantly extends productive time in the field by reducing the frequency of unloading cycles. Efficiency is further boosted by the DYNAMIC POWER system, which automatically adjusts engine output to the current working conditions, potentially saving up to 10 per cent on fuel.
Intelligent Cooling and Threshing Technology
For the first time, the TRION 760 and 750 incorporate the DYNAMIC COOLING system, a horizontal radiator setup with a variable fan that adapts its speed based on the engine's temperature. This innovation can save up to 15 kW of power, which is then redirected to the ground drive or other critical harvest units. The series continues to rely on the proven APS HYBRID system, utilising a 600 mm threshing drum and twin axial rotors in the top models to ensure high-performance separation and gentle handling of both grain and straw in a wide variety of crop types.
The Ultimate Operator Experience
The cab of the TRION has undergone a modern makeover to enhance comfort for long harvesting days. Starting in 2026, operators will benefit from an integrated infotainment system featuring Apple CarPlay and Android Auto on a 6.75-inch touch display. Practicality is also prioritised with a new compressed air connection and blow gun inside the cab for easy cleaning, along with expanded storage compartments in the B-pillar. Enhanced LED lighting turns night into day, offering 75 percent higher illumination to ensure safety and precision when working after dark.
Adaptability for Every Farm
True to its design philosophy, the TRION remains exceptionally versatile, offering a range of configurations, including wheeled, TERRA TRAC crawler, and MONTANA hillside versions. The MONTANA variants provide automatic slope compensation of up to 18 percent, making them ideal for challenging terrain. With multicrop capabilities that allow quick, tool-free changes between crops, the TRION series is engineered to fit the unique needs of every farm, proving itself to be more than just a machine but a reliable partner in the field.
