Achieve energy independence today

Embrace self-sufficiency in energy by choosing the world's only tractor capable of contributing to its fuel production. Stemming from New Holland's trailblazing work on alternative fuels through our Clean Energy Leader strategy, the T6 Methane Power tractor seamlessly integrates into the circular energy system, allowing you to utilize the biomethane generated from your biodigester as a fuel source for your tractor.

Proven technological advancements

Powered by a 6.7L, 6-cylinder engine developed by FPT Industrial, a pioneer in natural gas powertrain technology with over two decades of expertise and a track record of 50,000 natural gas engines produced to date. A straightforward, maintenance-free three-way catalyst serves for after-treatment, eliminating the necessity for exhaust gas recirculation, selective catalytic reduction components, and diesel exhaust fluid. The outcome? Equivalent power and torque to a diesel-powered engine, but with an estimated 30% reduction in operational costs, adding to your profitability.

A commitment to genuine sustainability by the clean energy leader

The greenest choice for your farm comes in the form of a blue tractor. In comparison to the emission limits permitted by European Stage V emissions regulations, the T6.180 Methane Power tractor yields a staggering 98% reduction in particulate matter. Running on biomethane achieves a 10 to 15% reduction in CO2 emissions, establishing a negative emission profile.

Fuel flexibility at its best

Tailored to suit your operational needs, this tractor accommodates both biomethane and compressed natural gas (CNG) as fuel options. Standard fuel tanks offer a capacity of 185 L and can be conveniently filled through a single port located on the left side of the tractor between the step plates. To monitor fuel pressure, a gauge is positioned beside the fuel port, while two test ports are easily accessible at the front and rear of the tractor. For prolonged periods between refills, the front-mounted range extender provides an additional 270 L of fuel capacity, connected via a bolted link to a port on the tractor's front.

Enhancing your productivity view

Experience day-long comfort and heightened productivity within the HorizonTM cab. With an already impressively low 69-decibel noise level, further reduced by five decibels during engine operation, and less vibration, this cab ensures a tranquil workspace. Ample glass spanning 63 square feet and a high-visibility roof panel deliver exceptional all-around visibility.

Enjoy a dual-zone heating and air conditioning system featuring 12 vents, maintaining your comfort throughout. Opt for the Comfort RideTM cab suspension system for the smoothest ride, equipped with two rubber isolators at the front corners of the cab and a sway bar with two spring-loaded shock absorbers at the rear. Plus, tailor your seating for the desired level of comfort.

Engineered with you in mind

Prioritizing your ease of operation, the Electro CommandTM semi-powershift transmission enables clutchless gear changes, reducing operator fatigue. The AutoShiftTM transmission takes care of shifting automatically for you. A standard ergonomic, column-mounted power shuttle with aggressiveness settings enhances manoeuvrability. The multi-function handle on your right provides powershift buttons and controls for front linkage and Headland Turn Sequence, streamlining your tasks.
