The T4 Electric Power tackles several challenges faced by these entities in their day-to-day operations. What New Holland offers our farming community is a convergence of technology - electric propulsion, autonomous features, superior performance - all within the framework of a utility tractor, setting the stage for a more efficient, sustainable, and resilient future our customers aspire to achieve."
Revolutionising Performance and Battery Technology
Underneath the hood of the T4 Electric Power lies an advanced battery system paired with a fully electric drivetrain known for its unwavering power and productivity. With a remarkable 110-kWh maximum energy storage capacity in a 400V high-voltage circuit, it delivers 55 kW of rated power and 48 kW of PTO power. Employing an efficient high-voltage powertrain with integrated cooling features from established mass-production suppliers, this tractor stands as a trailblazing solution.
How does it compare to its internal combustion counterparts?
In comparison to its diesel counterparts, the T4 Electric Power outperforms with distinction. It offers four-wheel drive, a reliable 12x12 transmission, a clutch-less electronic power shuttle reverser, and all the conventional power outputs of a traditional diesel utility tractor. This includes a rear electro-hydraulic PTO, drawbar, multiple rear remotes, mid-mount valves, and a robust 725LU mechanical self-levelling front loader with a 3rd function and an 84-inch bucket. Thanks to improved control, enhanced precision, and swifter response times, the tractor amplifies field capacity by reducing application cycle times.
The tractor's electric drivetrain ensures silent power delivery with high torque and rapid response, even at low speeds. These inherent characteristics of electric motors, combined with the 12x12 electronic power shuttle transmission, enable even novice operators to manage implements during applications without the need for precise gear selection or throttle control. Experienced operators can fine-tune speed by controlling motor RPM, facilitating smooth and gradual power delivery at low speeds and consistent output at high speeds, enhancing control and precision during field operations.
The T4 Electric Power incorporates state-of-the-art components and features focused on durability, long service life, and enhanced uptime. Across various light, medium, and heavy-duty applications within its daily routine, the tractor is estimated to provide an average runtime of four hours, extendable up to eight working hours for applications with lower energy demands.
This extended runtime empowers operators to tackle a variety of tasks without frequent recharging, boosting overall productivity and reducing operational downtime. The tractor can be recharged through multiple energy sources, including standard grids, solar panels, biodigesters, and wind power, in both Alternate Current (AC) and Direct Current (DC). In DC mode, it takes just one hour to reach a full 100% charge when utilizing commercially available fast charging systems.
Moreover, the T4 Electric Power can serve as a portable power source wherever and whenever needed. This is made possible through the practical and convenient Exportable Power feature, equipped with common 110V and 220V outlets commonly found in workshops and farmyard electrical installations. The tractor can power electric tools like welding machines, drills, and cutting devices.
Technology Enhances Productivity
The T4 Electric Power tractor incorporates intelligent autonomous features and innovative driver assistance modes, leveraging Precision Solutions & Telematics (PS&T), safety features, diagnostics, and service capabilities to enhance daily farming operations. Designed to address current farming challenges, including rising total cost of ownership, these exceptional features set the T4 Electric Power apart in the market.
Driver-assisted features such as Follow Me Mode, the Invisible Bucket, and 360 Degree Awareness are complemented by fully digital and connected functions like Over the Air Updates, Live View, and Map Maker, making this tractor a trailblazer on a global scale. The tractor utilizes cameras and sensors embedded in the Smart Roof, with modes activated via a modern touchscreen display. The outcome is improved performance and safety both inside and outside the cab, enhancing overall efficiency.
