The fourth generation of these tractors takes the best features from the past and adds user-friendly enhancements necessary for precision farming and modern planters.

1. Valtra Combines Tradition and Innovation

Valtra has addressed the daily challenges faced by today’s farmers to remain competitive. Introducing new implements and the need for guidance and precision farming has created a demand for tractors with high-flow hydraulic systems. Valtra’s response was developing and integrating the modern HI Flow system into their fourth-generation tractors, meeting the needs of contemporary agricultural practices.

2. The Legacy of Simplicity and Robustness

The Valtra BH series continues to be known for its simplicity and robustness. These tractors are designed to be easy to use and maintain, combining traditional reliability with modern innovations to create a product ideally suited for today’s agriculture sector.

3. Heavy-Duty Lift Capacity

The fourth-generation Valtra BH tractors feature an electronically controlled heavy-duty lift with a 7850 kg capacity, ideal for heavier implements. This lift system is designed to deliver outstanding performance with minimal wear on components. Drive balance control keeps lift implements stable on the road or when moving between fields, making these tractors perfect for hauling heavy loads due to their heavy construction and favorable weight balance.

4. Improved Fuel Economy

The BH G4 line is equipped with electronically controlled AGCO Power engines, renowned for their low fuel consumption and reliability. The BH154 model features a 4.9-liter, 4-cylinder engine, while the BH174 and BH194 models have 6.6-liter, 6-cylinder engines. The BH224 boasts a 7.4-liter engine. These engines ensure efficient fuel usage and provide dependable performance in various farming conditions.

Three power shifts within each range can be programmed to change automatically, ensuring smooth operation at optimal revolutions and speed. The unique Valtra forward-reverse power shuttle, located next to the steering wheel, allows for quick and easy direction changes, enhancing operational efficiency.

5. A Modern Planting Tractor

The hydraulic system of the Valtra BH tractors is designed for simplicity and practicality. The pump tempo can be easily adjusted from the cabin through the rear window, and all pumps are conveniently located under the cabin for easy service access. The tractor comes standard with three hydraulic valves and a return valve, with the option to add more valves based on the farmer’s needs. Each valve features flow control, and the hydraulic oil is kept separate from the transmission oil, ensuring ample volume for implements while protecting the tractor’s components.

6. Guidance-Ready Models

The BH194 and BH224 models are guidance-ready and compatible with Topcon, Trimble, and most other guidance systems for plug-and-play installation. The BH154 and BH174 models can also be fitted with electric steering systems, making these tractors versatile and adaptable to the latest farming technologies. Valtra’s fourth-generation tractors seamlessly blend tradition with innovation, providing reliable, efficient, and modern solutions for farmers in Africa and beyond.
