Farmers have a varying range of needs from their combines, but some fundamental factors determine a successful harvest. A harvest is successful when crops are harvested quickly and efficiently, producing a clean grain sample with minimal loss. While most combines utilize larger, more complex designs to achieve similar results with costly trade-offs, the Gleaner combine's fundamentally different design offers unparalleled levels of harvesting performance and efficiency.

Efficient Feeding, Threshing, and Separation

The Gleaner combine's unique handling and processing of material ensure that the direction and flow of the crop mat never change. This efficiency allows the processor to handle a large volume of material with less horsepower.

A Clean Grain Sample with Minimal Loss

The Gleaner's cleaning shoe efficiently cleans a large volume of material, producing a premium grain sample in the tank regardless of the terrain slope.

Increased Fuel Economy

The Gleaner's simple and easy-to-maintain drive systems move power through the machine without the inefficiencies of gearboxes or hydraulic motors. This ensures more power is dedicated to harvesting, reducing fuel consumption.

Easy to Maintain and Service

Reduced complexity in the Gleaner combine design allows for easy access, making maintenance and servicing straightforward.

Cleaning

Gleaner combines offer a more efficient and effective cleaning process. Two distribution augers below the processor evenly distribute material over the cleaning shoe. This design prevents the loading issues seen in combines with axial rotors. Two accelerator rolls propel the grain and chaff at four times the speed of free fall through the first stream of air from the cleaning fan. This separates lighter chaff, which is blown out the rear of the machine. The consistent and even loading of the cleaning shoe allows for effective cleaning even on slopes up to 23%. The second air blast from the cleaning fan, along with the shaking action and large cleaning area of the shoe, produces one of the best grain tank samples in the industry.

Threshing and Separation

The Gleaner combine's threshing and separation process sets it apart. The rotor's transverse position to the machine's travel direction allows the Natural Flow processor to operate at high capacity. The separator cage's full 360-degree separation reduces the rotor and cage length while maintaining the same separation area as other designs.

Expansive Space

The cab's large interior space provides ample room for entry and exit. With 130 cubic feet, there's plenty of room to spread out and use the standard footrests, even with an instructor seated.

Climate Controlled

The automatic HVAC system maintains a comfortable temperature in the spacious cab. UV-blocking laminate on the glass and a wide overhang provide shade from the sun on hot days.

Quiet Comfort

UV-blocking laminated glass and added insulation reduce harvest noise. Two radio options allow operators to enjoy their favourite music via AM/FM stereo, Bluetooth, or Sirius XM (with the Deluxe radio option). The Deluxe radio also includes hands-free phone functionality, four Kicker speakers, and a subwoofer.
