CX5 and CX6 Laterale and Hillside models will work across slopes of up to 38% and will tackle inclines of up 10% - They offer a unique combination of output and safety in challenging terrain, these combines have been designed to deliver performance that will equal a similar capacity to other models on the same level.
2. No compromise
The New Holland CX Laterale and Hillside combines employ the same advanced threshing and cleaning systems as level land CX models. This ensures that productivity and sample quality are never compromised. Furthermore, crop-to-crop flexibility now features the same standard sectional concave and a choice of crop specific settings which ensure optimised performance in all conditions.
3. Keeping a level head on safety
When it comes to safety aspects, New Holland makes no compromise. The proven self-levelling systems employed on CX Laterale and Hillside models now deliver maximum security in sloping terrain. The fully automatic, self-levelling system can also be overridden by the operator and can be operated mechanically if needed.
4. Lighting up the road ahead
The CX5 and CX6 lighting package has raised the lighting bar, and can deliver up to a total of 48000 lumens. The spread of light has been engineered for maximum visibility of the entire header and the field ahead. Precision unloading in the dead of night.
5. Easy to use
Engineers have made it easy to operate the new CX5 and CX6 by incorporating the brand's latest CommandGrip multifunction handle. All key machine and header parameters can be controlled, including header height, reel position and unloading engagement. Further convenience that helps maintain high daily workrates is the Cruise Control which can be operated with a simple tap on one of the buttons on the CommandGrip. The overall cabin area has also been enhanced with easy-to-reach controls, comfortable seats and climate control for those long hours on the job. There is even a large portable fridge under the instructor seat for refreshment storage.
