The MF2600 has been designed as a mid-level tractor offering which combines rugged reliability and outstanding performance with ease of operation.
1. Designed for the operator
The design team knows that the vehicle operator is going to spend long hours in the seat and thus have added a host of new features to make this experience as simple as possible. Take, for example, the straightforward controls which now allow for any member of the team to drive the tractor. They have been ergonomically placed so that transmission, hydraulic and PTO controls fall easily to hand and can be operated with minimum effort. All-round visibility has also been enhanced which allows the operator to keep any eye on implements at all time and to drive confidently in any situation.
2. It’s all about the power
The MF2600 Series is available with either a three or four cylinder motor which offer engine outputs of between 48kW and 60kW. There is also a high torque curve which benefits reliable operation whether in the field or around the yard. Built to the highest standards, these power units are highly efficient and deliver exceptional fuel economy.
3. Versatility
The MF 2600 Series tractors are equipped for serious work with a strong hitch offering 2000kg of lift capacity as well as a Mark III four-cylinder inlet controlled scotch yoke piston pump for precise control of rear-mounted implements. Easy to use hydraulic controls offer draft and position control to fine tune mounted implements when needed.
4. Ready for any application
In order to broaden the appeal of the MF2600 Series, Massey Ferguson has designed it with a variety of applications in mind. The MF2600 has been designed to be a GE (Ground Effect) tractor. This means that it is a low height model which makes it ideal for working under low hanging crops such as vines and fruit orchards. The highest point is 1300mm. Designers have also given the tractors rounded fenders which allow the crop to flow over them without being damaged.
