If your Toyota Etios (either a sedan or a hatchback) is running low on windscreen washer fluid, you can easily rectify the problem by yourself.
You will need:
- Clean water
- Windscreen washer fluid (optional, but highly recommended to deal with bug smears)
How to top up the screen wash on a Toyota Etios.
1. Locate the washer fluid reservoir. On the Toyota Etios, the reservoir is located in the front left corner (passenger side). Look for the medium-blue plastic cap (circled in blue in the photo) behind the passenger-side headlight cluster.
2. Lift up the blue cap and add a 50/50 mix of water and washer fluid, up to the level of the top ridge of the reservoir bottle, at the lower end of its neck (marked with a red arrow in the third image).
3. Replace the cap and operate the screenwasher, to test it to see if the system works properly.
