How to top up windscreen wash on a Ford EcoSport

The Ford EcoSport is quite capable off-road and a session in some muddy terrain will leave you with a dirty windscreen that you will need to clean. We show you how to refill the windscreen washer reservoir to keep you onboard washer system fully operational.

The Ford EcoSport may be considered a soft roader by many but it can still flex its muscle off-road. Doing this may find you with a filthy windscreen and you'll have to use the onboard windscreen washer system to clean it. The end result will be you having to refill the washer bottle and we are going to show you how and where.

You will need:

• Clean water
• Over the counter washer soap (available at auto parts stores)

Let's get started!

1. Open the bonnet.
2. Locate the washer fluid bottle, usually marked with a blue cap
3. Open the cap and fill with clean water up to the full mark.
4. Add a few tablespoons of washer soap, or as indicated on the washer fluid packaging.
5. Close cap and bonnet.
6. Test system to ensure it works sufficiently.
