How to change wiper blades on a Polo Vivo

Keeping a clear line of sight while driving is of the utmost importance. Keeping your windshield wipers in good condition is the best way to do this.

Your windshield wipers should be replaced every 12 months or sooner depending on usage and environment and we are going to show you how in a just a few easy steps. 

You will need:

• New wiper blades
• Soft Cloth

Let's get started!

1. Raise the spring-loaded arm of the wiper.
2. Gently push the old wiper blade down to release it from the wiper arm.
3. DONT LET THE ARM SMACK DOWN ON THE WINDSCREEN!
4. Retrieve your new wiper blade and push it back into the small U shape of the wiper arm.
5. Gently place the wiper arm back down and repeat on the other side.

Note: Give the base of the windscreen a wipe down to avoid grit becoming trapped in the new wiper blades and scratching the glass when the wipers are first used.
