How to top up screen wash on a Datsun Go

Sitting firmly in the top five cheapest cars available in SA, the Datsun Go does have a lot going for it. We take a look at the super simple process of refilling an empty washer fluid reservoir.

The Datsun Go may be one of the cheapest cars in SA at the moment but that doesn't exclude it from getting a dirty windscreen. The Go, like all other cars, has an onboard windscreen washing system that will need to be refilled or topped off periodically and we show you how to do it in a matter of minutes.

 

You will need:

  • Clean water
  • Windscreen washer fluid

 

Let's get started!

 

  1. Open the bonnet



  2. Locate the washer fluid reservoir, it should have a blue plastic cap.



  3. Fill the reservoir until the fill marking



  4. Add a few tablespoons of the additive or as directed on the packaging.

  5. Close the bonnet and test the system.
