How to top up screen wash on a BMW X2

Washer fluid blues

Keeping a clear view of the road ahead is very important. Stopping at a fill station to wash your windscreen isn't always an option and that's why all cars have an onboard window washing system. These systems work well but do need to be topped up regularly. The window washer reservoir on a BMW X2 is located in the engine bay, usually marked with a blue lid on the fill spout.

Let's fill 'er up!

You will need:

• Clean water
• Over the counter washer soap (available at auto parts stores)

Let's get started!

1. Open the bonnet.
2. Locate the washer fluid bottle, usually marked with a blue cap
3. Open the cap and fill with clean water up to the full mark.
4. Add a few tablespoons of washer soap, or as indicated on the washer fluid packaging.
5. Close cap and bonnet.
6. Test system to ensure it works sufficiently.
