The beginning of 2023 saw Japanese automaker Suzuki introduce a new and exciting model of the Grand Vitara nameplate. These new vehicles came with the option of a petrol engine or a hybrid drive variant and have slowly begun gaining traction with cash-strapped motorists. The previous generation models have been available on the used market for some time now, and if you can find one will make a great addition to the family garage.

You will need:

  • Replacement battery of correct size and amperage
  • 10mm socket or wrench

 

 

Let's get it done

 

1. Open the bonnet

2. Locate the battery

3. Using the 10mm, remove the negative terminal

4. Using the 10mm again, disconnect the positive terminal

5. Using the 10mm, undo the bolts for the hold-down bracket

  

6. Carefully remove old battery

 

7. Exchange battery and assemble in reverse order
