With no new models incoming many of these have ended up on the second hand market and if you were to purchase one you may need to change the car battery. No need to worry though as it is a very straight forward job that you can tackle right at home with minimal tools.
You will need:
- Replacement battery of correct size and amperage
- 10mm wrench
- 13mm socket, extension and driver
Let's get it done
1. Open the bonnet
2. Use the 10mm wrench to remove the positive terminal off of the battery
3. Use the 10mm again to remove the negative battery terminal
4. Use the 13mm socket to remove the hold down clamp at the base of the battery
5. Remove old battery and install new one
6. Re assemble in reverse order
