C5 battery exchange
The Omoda C5 arrived with much fanfare in South Africa, being an affordable family crossover that is not only stylistically fashionable but also packed with features and tech that will appeal to young and old alike. Many of the tech features require a steady electrical supply. Once these Omoda vehicles begin finding their way onto the used market, the car batteries may have reached their age limit, and the features may no longer work properly.

Some newer models require a battery registration. With some models, this can be done within the vehicle onboard computer menu and with some, you will need a code reader to reset it from within the ECU.
Ensure that the vent line (if your battery has one) is connected to the fitting on the battery before closing up the boot area.
We highly recommend reading your owners manual to determine which route to follow.
