Easy install
The Mazda 6 may no longer be on sale here in South Africa but there were a few that were traded a few years back. If you are one of the lucky ones that managed to snatch up one of these left-field option sedans you may be in need of a new car battery.

A trip to your local Mazda dealer won't be needed though as we can show you how to tackle this right at home with minimal tools.
You will need:
- Car battery for your year and model designation
- 10mm wrench or socket and socket wrench
Let's get it done!
1. Open the bonnet.
2. Locate the battery.
3. Use the 10mm wrench to remove the negative terminal
4. Use the 10mm wrench to remove the positive terminal.
5. Use the 10mm wrench to remove the hold-down bracket.
8. Replace battery.
9. Reinstall everything in reverse order.
