Easy maintenance.
The Mahindra Scorpio Pik Up is designed to be as hardy as possible to cope with the extreme environments that it is sold in. from deserts to rural villages the Pik Up can go anywhere and can take the abuse. This means that maintenance needs to be as easy as possible and be done with minimal tools and the latest version of the Scorpio, is no different.

We are going to show you how to do it in a few easy steps with just a few tools and some elbow grease.
You will need:
- New battery
- 10mm, 12mm, 13mm wrenches and socket set (depending on year model)
Let's get started!
1. Open the bonnet.
2. Using the selection of wrenches, undo and remove the negative battery terminal.
3. Undo and remove the positive battery terminal.
4. Loosen and back off the retaining nuts on the bracket holding the battery in place.
5. Remove the battery and install the new one.
6. Install bracket bolts, tighten down the bracket and replace terminals, positive terminal first.
