Kick it up a notch
It may not be as well known as the Haval but, Chinese brand JMC also has a budget SUV offering available in SA. The average lifespan on a car battery is roughly 3-years and with many Landwind's now approaching that time frame in age, a new car battery is going to be on the cards soon.

A trip to your local JMC or battery dealer won't be needed though as we can show you how to tackle this right at home with minimal tools.
You will need:
- Car battery for your year and model designation
- 10mm wrench or socket and socket wrench
Let's get it done!

1. Open the bonnet.

2. Use the 10mm wrench to remove the negative terminal.

3. Use the 10mm wrench to remove the positive terminal.

4. Use the 10mm wrench to remove the hold-down bracket.

5. Replace the battery and reconnect everything in reverse order.
