You will need:
- New replacement battery for your model (correct amperage)
- Socket set and wrench set (10mm - 14mm, depending on year model)
Let's get started!
1. Begin by opening the bonnet
2. Locate the battery, it should be just above the air filter housing.
3. Remove the negative terminal using the appropriate size wrench.
4. Remove the positive terminal using the appropriate size wrench.
5. Use the socket wrench and the correct size socket to remove the hold-down bolts that clamp into the battery tray.
6. Exchange battery and reassemble in reverse order.
7. Start the car to make sure everything is working correctly.
