Just follow our step-by-step guide to change out your battery right at home.
You will need:
- New battery of correct amperage, voltage and frame size
- 10mm Socket and driver
- Short Phillips screwdriver
Let's get started!

1. Open the boot

2. Locate battery in the driver side panel

3. Use 10mm socket to remove negative terminal.

4. Remove the distribution box cover and loosen the positive terminal cam lock.

5. Remove the retaining crews from the distribution box.

6. Remove the positive terminal/ distribution box assembly and nylon battery strap.

7. Using 10mm socket remove the hold down retainer.

8. Remove battery.

9. Install new battery and assemble everything in reverse ensuring that the vent tube is attached.
