How to top up windscreen washer fluid on an Alfa Romeo Giulia
With dust storms and plenty of bug splats being the order of any driving day, it’s important to maintain a clear view of the road ahead. We show you how to top up the windscreen washer fluid on an Alfa Romeo Giulia in a few easy steps.
If your Alfa Romeo Giulia (or mechanically similar Stelvio) is running low on windscreen washer fluid, you can easily rectify the problem by yourself.

You will need:
- Clean water
- Windscreen washer fluid (optional, but highly recommended to deal with bug smears)
How to top up the screen wash on an Alfa Romeo Giulia.
1. Locate the bonnet release lever inside the cabin just ahead of the driver’s door (next to the accelerator pedal), and open the bonnet.
2. Locate the washer fluid reservoir: on the Alfa Romeo Giulia, the reservoir is located in the front left corner (passenger side). Look for the light blue cap (circled in purple in the photo above).
3. Lift up the blue cap and add a 50/50 mix of water and washer fluid, up to the level of the little plastic sieve in the bottle’s neck.
4. Replace the cap and operate the screenwasher, to test if the system works properly.
