No matter the cause, you will want to self rescue as soon as possible and we can show you how with our step by step guide on changing out a flat.

Lets do get it done!

  1. Make sure the vehicle is on a flat level surface and that the hand brake is engaged
  2. Retrieve the car jack, wheel spanner and spare wheel from the boot
  3. Fit the jack near the approved lifting point on the undercarriage and take the weight off of the flat wheel
  4. Use the wheel spanner to remove the wheel bolts
  5. Place the spare onto the wheel hub and tighten the wheel bolts
  6. Lower the car down and give the wheel bolts a once over to ensure that they are sufficiently tight
  7. Place the flat wheel in the boot along with the tools and be on your way

Make sure to get the flat repaired as soon as possible and put the spare back.
