How to change wiper blades on a Mercedes-Benz S-Class

The Mercedes-Benz S-Class is the flagship of the German luxury sedan builder and such is packed with technology that makes life with the cruiser so much better. One technology that they haven't managed to completely automate, is replacing windshield wipers.

The wiper blades will need to be changed every year to keep them working at their best. You can save yourself a few rand by getting your hands dirty and tackling the exchange yourself by following our tutorial below.

 

You will need:

  • Replacement wiper blades for your model
  • Soft cloth

  

Let's get it done

 

1. Start on the drivers side as this is the longer of the two blades

 

2. Lift the blade up and depress the clip from both sides

 

3. Pull the blade upwards away from the holder

 

4. Replace the new blade in reverse operation

 

5. Make sure clip is secure

 

6. Repeat on passenger side.
